Come hear how Duke Ellington put his own twist on Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, as the PSO presents BOTH versions!!!  Also on the program is a performance of Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Cellos featuring PSO Principal and Associate Principal James Forry and Devyn Wilcox.

The beauty and splendor of the Grand Canyon is the backdrop for our annual Young People's Concert and our Student Art Concert slideshow theme.  It is also the 20th anniversary of our Young Artists' Competition where three gifted young instrumentalists perform along side the PSO to compete for scholarship prizes!!

Our April concert welcomes back several familiar performers to the PSO stage including Emily Casey.  Ms. Casey was first featured in our Rock-4-Relief concert in her hauntingly beautiful performance of Ave Maria.  Come and enjoy the most beloved opera arias, duets and overtures in this celebration of the human voice.

In our season finale, we present the semianl work depicting the American landscape, Dvorak's Symphony No. 9, From The New World.  We are also pleased to feature PSO Concertmaster H. Lee Brewster in a performance of the  monumental Concerto for Violin by the American composer Samuel Barber.
